Thanksgiving
We made the homemade green casserole again for Thanksgiving, takes forever, I'd recommend to make to soup a day ahead of time if you can. I got the mushrooms from a farm here in Fort Collins again.

Winter Bike to Work Day
I braved the weather for Winter Bike to Work
Day. Wasn’t too bad – 10F, that’s warm compared to the weather we’ve been
having! Only a 3 mile commute. Tree is up, we'll post pics soon. Supposed to be getting internet tonight.
First I stopped at Snooze, they had cinnamon
roll pancakes and veggie breakfast burritos.
Second Stop - Next the gardens at CSU, very
close to my work.
Freebies! Not that great compared to the past
ones in Boulder but I’m not complaining. O’Dell is giving free beer to bikers
tonight, depending on the darkness level I might try to go.

Soup & Beer
With the recent cold weather we have pretty much been eating soup haha. We made this last week, no recipe or name, used kale from the garden and smoked chicken sausage, almost like a minestrone. Going to make green chili tonight, have 1/2 bushel of roasted peppers in the freezer we need to use up.
I brewed a batch of beer over the weekend with Erik. The cold weather helped, we used snow to chill the wort (along with a wort chiller), took less than 10 minutes to get it from ~150F to 100F.
The Coopers got me the kit for my birthday, it is based off Bell's Two Hearted IPA, can't wait to try it! Erik said it is bubbling a lot = good sign.

Yummy
We found the a
amazing French bakery yesterday, I literally wanted to buy everything there! We ended up getting a spinach/cheese & ham/cheese croissant and a Nutella
beignet . Also pistachio and salted
caramel macaron. Next time anyone visit we should go!
